    i live here and i have been for almost 8 years it is a beutiful place and the locals are very friendly there is no more algal bloom (blue-green algae) problems so you can swin in the freshwater pools it is amazing in summer when the water is nice and cool to get away from the sticky heat and in winter it is nice and chilly i suggest you visit the beaches and blue and green pools and also check out angourie and wooleweyah but the food is great we have some of the best chips in the area.

    A must see spot when you're around. Water wasn't blue or green when we visited, but still stunning. There are signs of harmful algae around the pools so take care.

    Beautiful spot, but no swimming in freshwater pools due to algal blooms.

    Well kept. The water did not look inviting. The miserable weather may have affected this review though.
